Datin Jane started dancing at the young age of nine. She joined the Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Kwang Si Dance Troupe to enrich her potential in contemporary dancing. She then toured with the company around Malaysia, Thailand and China. Subsequently, she enrolled in the New York Joffrey Ballet School in 1990. She has worked with choreographer Betteane Terrell and toured the United States. Upon her return to Malaysia, Jane obtained her teaching certificate from ISTD and RAD. In 1992 she started her first dancing school, Dance Space in Empire Klang. As a result of her firm and professional principles of teaching, the number of students increased day by day. In her many years of teaching, she has trained numerous students of the best batch, and those who are passionate about dancing and are eager to learn. Basically, she continues to pursue her ambitious expansion by creating a professional stage for performing arts as well as an educational centre which is now the Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC).
